Credit for discovering this partial fix goes to randomlynessive. Instructions: Graphics Advanced Enable Free Look Hold Shift + W Shift + R to reset Fixes heat distortion for the most part, but zooms in scenes in certain places until camera is reset. Affects lighting slightly. The better you make the game look (Widescreen + High Resolutions) the worse the heat distortion is going to be. This partial fix works in all rendering engines, and at at any resolution or aspect ratio.

the plastic thing in the middle is broken on my disk and when i insert the disk, it sounds? like if the xbox is gonna break down

@vincem92 yes because you have to insert the disk to start the game.. then once? you get to the Multiplayer Menu you remove the disk and now its running off of the Console Installation
Didn’t work for me… My MW3 has a perfect circle, so I went to the store and rented the game. I installed the game from the videostore on my xbox, but when I switch disks, I get two MW3 games in my game library,? one that is installed, and the damaged one… If I try to play the installed one, it tells me that I need to insert the disk and that I need the original copy..

@pklemonade Usually with these partial fixes, people won’t really acknowledge them because they aren’t completely solid solutions, but what I demonstrated here, in my honest opinion, is totally worthy of being shared. Dragon Roost Cavern is a horrid eyesore in widescreen without it.
The flickering is? a small price to pay for fixing one of the oldest problems in Dolphin.
